How We Work
Free Assessment
So we know the extent and requirements of the work, we will first come to the site to do an assessment. At this point, we will look at the condition of the tree, identify any risks (such as power lines or nearby buildings), and any safety equipment that is needed (for example, safety ropes for climbing big trees).
Quoting and Details
Once we know what the job entails, we’ll let you know the cost, as well as an approximate date that we can do the work, and an estimate of how long it will take. We’ll also discuss any potential access issues and risks.
On the Day
On the day (or days) of the work, our small team will attend the site with all the relevant tools and safety equipment and begin the removal. This may involve felling, which is when we cut down the tree from the base. Or we may need to climb the tree and dismantle it into smaller pieces. This second tree removal method is generally used when the tree is in a sensitive location or near structures or power lines. It helps avoid any harm to nearby property or landscape.
Stump and Root Removal
As part of the tree removal, if required, we can also remove as much of the roots and stump as possible.
Tidying Up
At the end of the job, all debris, equipment and tools will be removed and your space left clean and tidy.

Do you have insurance?
Yes, we are fully insured up to £5 million in Public Liability and up to £10 million in Employees Liability.
What are your qualifications?
Conor has 10 years of experience in all aspects of tree work. He is also NPTC qualified with a Level 3 qualification in arboriculture.
How much will it cost?
Before you agree to any work, we will visit the site to assess the tree and will then provide a quote.
Will you also remove the stump?
Yes, we also offer a stump removal service if required. Please let us know if you would like this done during the site assessment.
What happens to the wood once the tree is removed?
Unless you ask to keep it, we will take away all wood and debris so that you’re left with a tidy space.
What if I only want part of the tree removed?
We offer all aspects of tree maintenance services, including tree pruning, crown raising, and crown thinning.
Do I need to get any special permission to cut down a tree?
In general, you will not need any special permissions to cut down trees on your own property or land. However, there are restrictions on trees with a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) and those within Conservation Areas. We will check the status of any trees before carrying out any work and let you know if there are likely to be any problems.
